RENEE

Renee at Casita, 2004
The memories come delicately, warmly,
Floating like July hot-air balloons into this nodding
4 o’clock day-dream

She is there,
Spirit so bright,
A smile that makes it all-right

This is the soothing an angel brings -

Renee and Gravy - 2005

This site is dedicated to Renee. She was an incredible young woman, full of love and life. That spirit still prevails, for those who seek it. She is my inspiration daily and in her passing, my spirituality has grown more than I could have ever expected. I would like to share with you all those wonderful things Renee was about: family & friends, music, art, poetry (new), free spirit, and her love for animals. ~ Blessings to you & Thanks for visiting Renee's site.

One on One by Jane Cassidy"Remembering Renee".... AMS Production Group recently wrapped a 26-week series of 30 minute episodes, The Art of Living Gallery, exploring the healing effects that accompany the creative process – both art and music. The series was produced for the Veria network whose programming focuses entirely on healthy living and wellness. I am very honored to be a part of this series, which is airing this fall, 2007. The interview focused on how art and the creative process has been so important for me since Renee's passing. It saved me in the beginning of my journey of grief, and continues to keep me focused. I am fortunate to show my work at a great gallery, Indigo Gallery, in Madrid, New Mexico.

Renee was a wonderful artist, and I remember painting with her, and what a creative teacher she has been for me. She continually inspires me to paint. My painting has been the best therapy I could ever imagine.

I started the cactus painting to the left at the time of the interview. The title, "One on One" represents many things for me, but mostly the importance of each encounter I have, how each encounter is an honor, and how we can change the world, one by one. To carry this idea forward a bit, this summer I made a Peace flag. I am now elaborating on the idea, and it is flourishing. Check it out

Do you believe in "Spirit"?
This story, written by portrait artist, LaDonna Vohar, is quite incredible.

This film was taken the summer of '05, by Renee's dad. She loved playing the digereedoo.

My mission is also to provide inspiration in creating an enlightened community. It seems like an insurmountable objective, doesn't it? I believe, however, this kind of change can occur as we approach each encounter with honor and gratitude. Please share this site with others, and maybe the mission will move forward, one by one.
Renee's favorite musician, Trey Anastasio, played at the Fillmore in Denver, Colorado on her birthday last year. He dedicated 2 songs to Renee during his solo performance. Read more!

Tribute to Renee
"May forever your soul run in fields of gold,
and your loving memory our hearts will forever hold."

The above photo is of a Memorial Cross I made for Renee. Apollo, my dog, stands guard as he has been my close companion these past couple of years.
He has brought me much comfort each and every day as he has licked my tears and stood by me.

Happy Birthday Renee

Renee, we love you, always.... It has now been over 2 years.
I miss you, Always with Infinite Love, Mom.
